A picker must participate in our warehouse operations and activities. A picker’s responsibility includes picking, packing, scanning orders and ensuring best quality has been picked for the stores. The goal is to increase efficiency, profitability, and customer satisfaction. This position reports directly to the Outbound Supervisor, Outbound Manager and the Outbound Checker and will be required to work different shifts across trading and non-trading hours, including Sundays and Public Holiday.
What you’ll do

This is a list of tasks that you will be responsible for doing on your days at work.

Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pick according to schedule (pick; pack; wrap; label)
Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization.
Report any discrepancies.
Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and co-workers.
Operate and maintain warehouse vehicles and equipment.
Follow quality service standards and comply with procedure, rules, and regulations.
Handle heavy lifting, moving products as needed.
Operate a scanner to track and record inventory movements.
Build and maintain product knowledge to assist with accurate picking and packing.
Work efficiently, especially during peak periods.

Experience: Minimum 1 years’ experience as a picker in the warehouse environment
